My name is Christian de May. Born in Munich and raised as a child of German-Chilean parents, I found enthusiasm for any kind of movement early on and sought a close proximity to nature.
Native American culture accompanied me from the beginning, as my great-grandfather founded the first Indian School and Social Mission in Chile in 1912.
My grandparents and parents conveyed to me the knowledge and traditions of the Mapuche Indians.
Starting with a training as a massage and healing therapist at European College, my professional career, accompanied by further therapeutic training, led me, among others. at Top Physio (school for physiotherapists and occupational therapists), various activities as a therapist and personal trainer and my travels which i.a. to North, South and Central America - where especially in Yucatan / Mexico the Maya culture touched me and left a lasting impression - led to my ongoing appeal with Indian Balance.
Encouraged by the daily work with people of different ages and different physical conditions, I wanted to develop a program that is equally suitable for everyone. After a long preparation period, I presented Indian Balance at the FIBO World Fitness Fair in 2005 and was presented there as a new Body Mind Soul program.
In addition, I am the author of the eponymous book that was published in 2006 in BLV-Verlag.
Since 2005, I am the owner of the Indian Balance Academy, instructor and speaker at various
Educational academies such as the SKA Kneipp Academy e.V. and at congresses.
